Who We Are
StyleUpLook is an independently operated fashion and lifestyle publication founded and edited by Maya Torres. We publish outfit guides, seasonal style advice, and practical fashion content for readers looking for realistic, wearable style inspiration. How We Create Content
Every post starts with a real question our readers are trying to solve, what to wear for a season, a trip, or an occasion. Outfits and tips are selected based on practicality, current trends, and wearability, and are written or reviewed by our editorial team before publishing. We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage of any brand or product, and no outside party has editorial control over what we publish.
Authorship & Bylines
Every article is published under a named author, with authorship displayed on the article itself. You can view author bios and background on our Our Team page. Each article displays its original publish date. If a post is updated significantly after its original publish date, we note the revised date at the top of the article so readers know when it was last reviewed.
Fact-Checking & Accuracy
Style and outfit advice is inherently a matter of opinion and trend, but factual claims such as care instructions, sizing information, or references to brands and products — are checked against manufacturer information or direct testing where possible before publishing. Writers are expected to disclose any uncertainty rather than present unverified claims as fact.
Corrections Policy
We take factual accuracy seriously. If you notice an error a broken link, outdated information, or a factual mistake please let us know via our Contact page, including the article title or URL. We aim to review correction requests within 2–3 business days. Minor corrections (typos, broken links) are fixed without a note; significant factual corrections are noted with a “Corrected on [date]” line within the article.
